Abandoned Octagonal Building, Truman St, San Fernando

Building a structure with eight sides is an interesting choice.  It's likely to attract attention, although it's not the most efficient use of space.  Having an eye-catching shape is no guarantee that the business it houses will succeed, however, and in this case it appears the building has been abandoned for a very long time.  What remains makes me wish I'd been able to see it in its heyday, before the windows got boarded up and the awnings began to sag.
