Entrance, Former Title Guarantee and Trust, 5th St, Los Angeles

The former Title Guarantee and Trust building at the northeast corner of downtown LA's Pershing Square is an understated Art Deco gem.  It's covered in ceramic tile and features a subtly stepped entrance and a remarkable bas relief frieze above it.  The sculpture, conceived by the artist Edgar Walter, was commissioned by the building's architect, John Parkinson.
