Storage Facility, Cahuenga Blvd, Hollywood

As the days get shorter shadows inevitably impose themselves on the scene more and more.  One advantage of this is that objects like streetlights, utility poles, trees and the like can add depth and set up associations with elements that they wouldn't normally have anything to do with.  I'm not sure that the signage on this building will look better once the masking to protect it from the paint being applied, but it looks pretty great as it is here.
